Description
This concert has only assigned seating. Behind the stage name Bahamas is Canadian singer-songwriter Afie Jurvanen. The name Bahamas can be taken ironically, as Jurvanen doesn't create tropical sounds, but subtle folk, soul, and indie pop. On his latest album, Bootcut (2023), Bahamas draws inspiration from country artists like Willie Nelson, Sturgill Simpson, and Merle Haggard. And to get it right, he recorded the album in the country capital of Nashville with the best session musicians in town (including Vince Gill). Fun fact for the Pop Quiz: Jurvanen's mother was Miss Finland 1973!
