The Book Fair, as a meeting place for writers and readers, brings together participants from the fields of literature, publishing, media, scientific, and professional literature.

Its special cultural value is added by the accompanying event 'Days of Laza Kostic', where award-winning writers, translators, literary critics, and the literary award 'Laza Kostic' are hosted, which is awarded for the best literary achievement, as well as for publishing ventures, between the two Book Fairs.

In addition to these, awards will be given for children's literature and 'Zaharije Orfelin' for the most beautiful book.
