For MIGA's first exhibition, Sandra Jõgeva presents a critical look behind the scenes of the art world, into its invisible hierarchies and power dynamics influencing the artist's role and the creative field broadly.
It asks: Who makes decisions? How are rules created? How much freedom does an artist have in a system where unseen structures shape outcomes? Through personal experience and social reflection, it reveals hidden layers, sometimes directly or uncomfortably.
Open Saturdays and Sundays 12:00-18:00 from May 10 to July 26, 2026. 36 m² gallery holds up to 8 visitors; each ticket valid for one hour.
MIGA in Tartu is a compact contemporary art platform fostering close encounters with art, dialogue, and bold exhibition formats, focusing on social currents, personal experience, and space perception.
