In addition to the mentioned programs, a dog adoption event will also take place on Sunday, April 6th, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., with free entry for visitors accompanied by pets.
The adoption of stray animals at the Museum of Science and Technology is carried out in cooperation with the Public Utility Company Veterinary Belgrade. One of the partners, the company Lidl, has provided food, treats, and litter for the animals which will find new owners at the Museum of Science and Technology that day.
World Stray Animals Day is observed on April 4th at the initiative of Dutch activists, with the aim of raising awareness about the issue of stray animals, who are often victims of abuse and violence left to fend for themselves on the streets, and susceptible to various dangerous diseases.
The intention of the Museum of Science and Technology, in partnership with others during this three-day event, is to contribute to alleviating these problems, emphasizing the importance of responsible behavior towards abandoned and owned animals. If you are able, help, adopt a pet, make a friend, and receive unconditional love.
