Alter Rok Ego Festival (AREF) is an annual micro-format festival held in three cities in the country and region. The zero edition takes place in Požarevac (Klub KB), Smederevo (MKS Kombinat), and Belgrade (Nova Zappa Barka). It focuses on songwriters and bands from the local and regional independent scene. The mission is to provide a platform for greater visibility, exchange, and promotion of artists outside commercial channels, while supporting small music clubs through artist connections.
