This year at Rewire, a number of new cutting-edge audiovisual encounters await. Kianí Del Valle Performance Group, Tayhana & Hamill Industries perform their intricate CORTEX live at the festival’s opening night on 3 April – exploring processes of grief, displacement, loneliness, and mortality through dance, music, and light. Also performing at the opening is producer, composer, and instrument builder Alessandro Cortini, presenting his new album.
