Description

On April 11, 2026, the Banksy Museum presents a rare live collaboration between street artist Dan Carrello and the string quartet ETHEL. In two performances only, at 2 PM and 3 PM, Carrello and ETHEL create an entirely new work in real time through improvisation. Carrello approaches painting as movement rooted in street culture. ETHEL blends classical precision with contemporary composition and improvisation. Together, they build a dialogue between sound and image where music shapes paint and paint reshapes music. Each performance is distinct.
