Sergej Davidčenko is the absolute winner and recipient of the 1st prize at the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow 2023. He is a Yamaha artist. Born in 2004 in the Stavropol region, he attended preparatory courses at the Stavropol Regional Music College named after V.I. Safonov, graduated from the Secondary Special 11-year Music School (college) at the Rostov State Conservatory named after S.V. Rachmaninoff, and in 2022 enrolled in the Rostov State Conservatory named after S.V. Rachmaninoff in the class of Professor Sergey Ivanovich Osipenko. He is the winner and Grand Prix recipient of numerous international competitions: XII International TV Competition for Young Musicians 'Nutcracker' (Moscow, 2016, 1st prize, Audience Award); IV International Competition for Young Pianists 'Astana Piano Passion' (Kazakhstan, Astana, 2017, 1st prize, special awards); II International Competition for Young Pianists 'Grand Piano Competition' (Moscow, 2018, laureate and 6 special prizes); V All-Russian TV Competition for Young Talents 'Silver Bird' (Moscow, 2018, winner); XVIII All-Russian Youth Delphic Games of Russia (Rostov-on-Don, 2019, 1st prize); I All-Russian Competition of 'New Names' Foundation scholars (Moscow, 2021, laureate); III International Competition for Young Pianists 'Grand Piano Competition' (Moscow, 2021, Grand Prix and 9 special prizes), and others. He has participated in festivals such as 'Stars on Baikal', 'Images of Contemporary Pianism', 'Stars of the White Nights', 'White Acacia', 'Alma mater', 'Musical Olympus', 'Crescendo', 'Dialogue of Generations', and many others. He participated in the World Youth Festival 2024 (Sochi, Sirius). He has performed multiple times with the DSO 'New Russia' under Yuri Bashmet, Academic Symphony Orchestra of MGAF under Yuri Simonov, Moscow State Symphony Orchestra under Ivan Rudin, GCO 'Virtuosi of Moscow' under Vladimir Spivakov, National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra under Vladimir Spivakov, and others. In March 2024, he performed all Prokofiev piano concertos with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan, and in June recorded them with artistic director Alexander Sladkovsky. He performed with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under Valery Gergiev, and the State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after Y. Svetlanov. He has collaborated with conductors including Alexander Sladkovsky, Valery Gergiev, Yuri Bashmet, Alexey Rubin, Alexander Rudin, Mikhail Shcherbakov, Yuri Tkachenko, Dmitry Yurovsky, Valentin Urupin, Filip Chizhevsky, Clement Noncie, Haozhan Li, Ayyub Kuliev, Dimitris Botinis, Christian Knapp, Tigran Ahnazaryan, and many others. In late 2023, he performed all Prokofiev piano concertos at the 'Images of Contemporary Pianism' festival with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra under Valery Gergiev (St. Petersburg). At the opening of the IV International Competition for Young Pianists 'Grand Piano Competition' in June 2024 in Moscow, he performed Poulenc's Concerto for Two Pianos with Ivan Bessонов and the world premiere of Alexander Tchaikovsky's Concerto for Four Pianos with Denis Matsuev, Ivan Bessонов, and Petr Akulov. In 2024, he became a finalist of the 'Blueprint-100' project and winner of the Forbes rating on the '30 under 30' list. He actively tours Russia and the world, including Mexico, Uzbekistan, Serbia, China, UAE, Brazil, Bulgaria, and others.
