On Friday, August 22, Belongó and Bryant Park Picnic Performances proudly present a free outdoor concert led by 8-time Grammy Award winner Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra will be joined by Edmar Castañeda, Jorge Glem, and the Villalobos Brothers.

This special evening celebrates the 400th birthday of New York City with an orchestral retrospective of NYC big band music—honoring the legacy of artists like Tito Puente, Mario Bauzá, and Chico O’Farrill, while showcasing the bold future of Latin jazz.
