Clawhammer Banjo - Nora Brown open to intermediate students and is best suited to those who have a background in playing their instrument and want to add to the repertoire.

Mandolin - Eli West In this workshop we briefly explore the role of the mandolin as a melody and accompanying rhythm instrument, and we work on technique. Eli will zoom in on playing melodies and variations, bass lines and so on.

Folk Songwriting - Kris Drever Kris introduces you to writing exercises and tools to create and write together in groups. He will also talk about what inspires him as a songwriter and how he uses a deep knowledge of folk and traditional music to influence his original material.

North American Fiddle - Laura Cortese You can bow your own way! For musicians who can quickly learn melodies by ear and have some experience with North American music (Appalachian, Cape Breton, Québécois, and/or New England). Viola’s and cello’s are also welcome!
