Area Musician Ben Salter is back for another whip round the country in support of his own sense of purpose and self worth. He's just returned from another four month tour of duty in Europe & Japan where he played lots of shows to very few people as well as two shows in front of many thousands of people at the increasingly famous Binic Folks Blues Festival in Brittany, France where he shared the bill and many vin rouge with fellow Australian artists (and old mates) Kill Devil Hills, Jamie Hutchings, Gentle Ben & His Shimmering Hands, Party Pest, Clamm, C.O.F.F.I.N., Goutlaw and more.
He'll be joined on the tour by Tasmanian songwriter Chloe Alison Escott, who's perhaps better known as one half of post-punk titans Native Cats. Chloe's debut solo album Stars Under Contract was released a few years ago to critical acclaim. They are looking forward to discussing the finer points of Metal Gear Solid V and Disco Elysium, among other things.
He's also joined for the Tasmanian leg by his fourth cousin once removed Saree Salter.
This will be Salter's last tour for a while, probably, as he's back down in the dungeon at MONA Museum from Xmas.
Don't miss out, be excellent to each other, dance like nobody's listening.
