Graduation performance 'Traveling Theater Šopalović'

It examines the position of theater and actors in today's world in an open and diffuse form, collecting personal experiences of actors from faculty blockades, protests, activism... The predominant question during that period was whether to perform or not. This question leads us into a dialogue with Simović's play and characters, with their opinions and experiences. The performance develops a dialogue with the audience on the purpose of our art and what we want to achieve with art in today's world.

The play wonders how and where in today's Serbia, when theaters and educational institutions are closing, and childhood idols become court jesters. How can young people orient themselves, where is the lighthouse that should guide them to the shore, safety, security? What kind of world are they entering? And what kind do they want to fight for. Do we really know what kind of world we want? How does today's world differ from that in occupied Serbia in 1942? And how does the shadow of the Užice gallows falling on the stage differ from today's contemporary demons and plagues that question our profession?
