Rob Crosby:
Rob Crosby, born and raised in South Carolina, began playing and writing songs as a child. After high school and briefly attending the University of South Carolina, he gained a regional following as a performer, before moving to Nashville to further his musical dreams.
Within a few years he had written a number one song for Lee Greenwood, “Holding a Good Hand”, and signed a recording contract with Arista Records. His first three singles as an artist reached numbers 7, 8 and 11 on the Radio and Records Country Chart (top twenty in Billboard). One of them, “She’s a Natural”, was also later recorded by the legendary Don Williams.
Rob toured with Brooks and Dunn, Reba McEntire, and Travis Tritt, and shared the bill with Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Willie Nelson and many others.
Though his recording career didn’t continue, he went on to write number one and “top five” hits for Martina McBride, Andy Griggs, Lady A, Eric Paslay, and a major number one for the European group, “The Common Linnets”. His songs have been recorded by Luke Combs, Trace Adkins, Lee Brice, Warren Zeiders, The Oak Ridge Boys, Blackhawk, Restless Heart, Whispering Bill Anderson, Lainey Wilson and others.
Rob continues to perform in America and Europe, and was inducted into the South Carolina Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame.
