His big break came at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, where he was selected from hundreds of hopefuls. The show was a success, leading to many stage and TV appearances throughout Europe. He appeared on TV programs such as “The Late Late Show”, “The Saturday Night Show”, “The Miriam Show”, and "TV3 Breakfast Show". He had parts in movies “The Commitments”, “The Van”, “The Snapper”, “Braveheart”, “Michael Collins”, and "When Harvey Met Bob".
