"The Australian Didgeridoo Workshop” is presented by award winning musicians and educators: Peter D. Harper and Bobbi Llewellyn-Harper. This event is a unique “hands on” workshop which explores Australian Aboriginal history, art, music and culture with a positive environmental theme. This workshop comprises of four segments: 1. A general introduction to the history and culture of Australia. 2. Instruction about Indigenous art, where by students learn to paint their own didgeridoo (Australian wind instrument). 3. Instruction and live musical performance of the newly created didgeridoos. The cool part is that all participants take home their didgeridoo creation.
