Yurie Collins, born and raised in Wakayama, presents her stand-up comedy “This is Me.” in Japanese. After feeling out of place as a half-Japanese and fleeing to America post-high school, she returns to introduce herself through comedy. Starting stand-up in Tokyo in 2023 after returning home, her sharp perspective gained quick attention domestically and internationally.
