This year's focus jazz artist Dee Dee Bridgewater is one of the great entertainers of the international jazz scene with her powerful voice and abundant acting talent. Her passion for music, dance and acting has been given to her by her mother and grandmother, and so it is also her concern to make music together with emerging jazz talents and to pass on her experiences. So she once took the jazz singer Kennedy under her wing in the mentoring program "The Woodshed Network" she created, who now shakes every stage as the frontwoman of the Kennedy Administration from New York with her energetic voice and appearance. Together with the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt under the direction of Angelo Valori, the two singers, who appreciate each other and their music very much, show their entire artistic spectrum of jazz, blues, rich R'n'B and deep soul.
