The latest work of the renowned Iranian director Jafar Panahi, winner of the 'Golden Palm' at this year's Cannes Film Festival, was shot in secret, without official permission from Iranian authorities. Panahi's thriller tells the story of the main character, a Tehran mechanic named Vahid, who suspects that his client Egbal is his former torturer. During his time in prison, Egbal brutally mistreated him.

The only evidence indicating that this is indeed the same person is the creaking of Egbal's prosthesis, which prompts Vahid to kidnap him and seek revenge, but sudden doubt stops Vahid from carrying out his initial plan.
