The traditional Jazz Festival Nišville in Niš this year will take place from August 9th to August 18th — starting this Friday. However, the main music program begins only on August 15th. In 2016, The Guardian newspaper included it in the top 10 jazz festivals in Europe, noting its 'excellent value for money' and the location: concerts mainly take place in a fortress, on extensive green space surrounded by Ottoman walls and gates.
