Nišville Jazz Festival is a traditional jazz festival in Niš, which will take place from August 9th to 18th this year – in other words, it will start this Friday. However, the main music program only starts on August 15th. In 2016, The Guardian newspaper included it in the top 10 jazz festivals in Europe, noting its 'excellent value for money' and location: concerts mostly take place in a fortress, on extensive green space, surrounded by Ottoman walls and gates.
