The Bats are New Zealand's indie band blending psych pop, twisted wistful folk, psychedelic rock, and bouncy twee pop, characterized by catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and dreamy atmospheres. They are releasing their 11th album, Corner Coming Up, recorded in Port Chalmers at The Historic Chicks Hotel studio with producer Tex Houston. Expect moving music for both the dance floor and heart. Debut single Loline, with video by Martin Sagadin, was released in April.
