A well-known Croatian businessman learns on his birthday that he is facing bankruptcy. His office is stormed by a family with a cake and musicians playing tambourines, while at the same time his daughter, who is studying in London, calls him to announce her pregnancy, sending a congratulatory message. In the style of Balkan comedy, blending humor, warmth, and tension, Wedding tells the unusual story of two families.
