DEBRA DEVI If you love blues, rock, and those dreamy psychedelic jams that take you somewhere else entirely, you’re in for a ride. Debra’s sound blends soulful vocals with expressive, soaring guitar work that’s earned her comparisons to Ana Popovic, Samantha Fish, and Susan Tedeschi. Her live shows are electric. Relix calls her music “dreamy blues-rock and blistering psychedelic jams,” and JamBase named her a “supersonic fret-burner who also writes hauntingly memorable songs.” Vintage Guitar praised her for her Hendrix-style jams and atmospheric slide work. She’s got the chops and the heart, and it shows every time she steps on stage. Her live EP Jamification Station Vol. 1 hit #5 on the Relix/Jambands.com radio chart and held on for three months. She’s opened for acts like Joan Osborne, Willie Nile, Jesse Malin, Ana Popovic, and Fantastic Cat, and even had Gov’t Mule bassist Jorgen Carlsson play on her 2021 EP A Zillion Stars Overhead. Debra also produces her own music videos and has been featured by The Alternate Root, Guitar Girl, and American Blues Scene. She’s one of just a few guitarists invited to endorse Homestead Amps, joining names like Warren Haynes and Susan Tedeschi. Hailing from Jersey City, NJ, Debra brings a powerhouse trio with Kevin Jones on bass, John Roccesano on drums and Brian Rigby on keys.
