“Bändiproov” is a sharp and moving encounter between two former rock band members, Frank and Hevi, full of music and passion. Decades after the band's breakup, they meet again in the same rehearsal room. A direct and sometimes painful dialogue ensues about their past dreams, thirst for success, friendship, betrayal, and lives that have gone in different directions. Frank is stuck in the past and lost opportunities; Hevi enjoys success and comfort but hides emptiness behind it. Their confrontation reveals the painful price of Estonia's 90s generation—efforts that broke some and propelled others. From the meeting grows an honest and human story about how time changes us, what bills life still demands, and if patching old wounds can bring back lost love.
