Ben Wheeler is a musician and musicologist. He is actively involved in the independent music scene in the South Caucasus, regularly performing in local clubs and festivals in all three countries. He is a co-founder of Mountains of Tongues, a project devoted to preserving and promoting lesser-known music from the Caucasus region. He will showcase a wide range of musical genres and styles from his extensive collection of home and professional cassette recordings from Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
