Jazz in its purest form
Some people refer to Dee Dee Bridgewater as the legitimate successor to the legendary jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald. And rightly so! She masters jazz singing with its various characteristics masterfully. Passionate and full of energy, she repeatedly proves this in a wide variety of formations - from the performance with a large orchestra to the exquisite duo evening. In musical togetherness with the pianist Carmen Staaf, who in turn has already worked with jazz greats such as Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis and Fred Hersch, our Fokus Jazz artist presents herself at her third and last concert this summer on the Wiesbaden Kurhaus stage. This evening promises jazz in its purest form - an experience not to be missed!
