The photographic exhibition “Mangiare con gli occhi” will open 🗓️ on Monday, January 26 ⏰ at 18.00 📍 at the Student Cultural Center in Novi Sad, organized in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Belgrade, the Italian Institute of Culture in Belgrade, and the Novi Sad Committee of the Dante Alighieri Society. The exhibition will be open for visits until February 14, 2026.
📌 The exhibition represents a journey that transforms the gaze on food and elevates it to a narrative of the human being. The temporal dimensions – past, present, and future – to which the images refer, trace paths, explore possibilities, and raise questions. Luisa Valieri, Mauro Turatti, Francesco Rucci, and Francesco Marinelli, authors of the masterful photographs, manage to condense the stratification of meanings that food has taken on and to build a new language. Food becomes an emblem of collective memories, territorial practices, aesthetics of desire, and ethical horizons.
