“Spring Into Summer” with La Lucha and Friends featuring their inaugural performance at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center. This Tampa Bay area’s prominent jazz trio is consistently evolving and surprising their audiences with re-imagined, genre-shifting arrangements.

La Lucha will be collaborating for the first time on this concert with Brazilian trombonist, François de Lima, a major figure in Samba, Bossa Nova and MPB (Djavan, Gal Costa, Banda Mantiqueira) and long-time friend and virtuoso guitarist, LaRue Nickelson.

Leaning into the natural changes of the season, La Lucha will “spring into summer” on this “unplugged-acoustic” show featuring a sneak peek listen to upcoming songs from their next album, that the trio will be recording in Nashville this summer.
