Lowdown Spirits is a dynamic duo of multi-award winning Dutch guitarist John F. Klaver and drummer Peter Nelissen. The two of them produce a down and dirty, groovy, funky, rootsy and raw sound where John plays the bass and guitar at the same time on his baritone guitar. That and two lead vocals that switch between lead and harmony makes their music and live performance very special. Expect a solo set by John (the one he won the Dutch Blues Challenge with) and a second set as a duo with much more raw power and groove.
