The Grammy Museum welcomes acclaimed synth-pop duo The Midnight to the Clive Davis Theater for an evening celebrating their latest album, Syndicate, out now via Ultra Records. Moderated by Jason Bentley, the conversation will explore the band’s creative evolution, songwriting process, and the making of Syndicate, alongside a special live performance. The event arrives ahead of the band’s first North American headline tour in support of Syndicate, The Midnight: Time Machines Spring 2026. Syndicate unfolds across a cinematic sonic landscape. 'This is our ‘making peace with the apocalypse’ record,' says singer and lyricist Tyler Lyle. The band was born in spring 2012 from the meeting of Tyler Lyle and Tim McEwan. Lyle emerged from the folk-inflected Georgia scene. They discovered their shared creative language in the moody, synthesizer-driven sound.
