CRAZY SIXTIES: THE DECADE THAT CHANGED THE WORLD In the last lecture, "The Road to High Society," Lazar Šećerović took us through salon stories, balls, and encounters with aristocracy, showing how social life and reputation were shaped in a certain time. Today we enter a new epoch – the sixties, a decade that changed the world. These were the years of freedom and rebellion, a time when music, fashion, and film broke boundaries, when protests echoed through world universities, and cosmonauts and astronauts expanded the horizons of humanity. In the same rhythm, the everyday life of Belgrade moved: from work actions, graduations, and student days, through Bitef and discotheques, to encounters with world stars and royal families. The lecture takes us back to the atmosphere of the 'crazy sixties,' where private memories intertwine with major historical events, and one era reveals its contrasts – between nostalgia and revolution, glamour and everyday life.
