Femke Gyselinck and the B’Rock Orchestra present Torment of Hearts, exploring manifestations of loneliness through music and dance. The program includes Bach’s Liebster Jesu, mein Verlangen (1726), Krieger’s An die Einsamkeit (1717), Mahler’s Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen (1901) from Rückert-Lieder, and new music by composer/keyboardist Hendrik Lasure. Features three dancers, two singers, and an ensemble of seven musicians.
