We invite you to experience a rare musical event where Nordic crispness, the brilliance of film music, and the latest gems of Estonian composition meet. The artistic director of the concert is Norwegian trumpet virtuoso Hans Petter Stangnes (Trondheim Philharmonic, Nordic Brass Ensemble). Under his direction, the legendary Tallinn Brass Academy will perform masterpieces by Nordic composers and film music classics arranged for brass ensemble by Stangnes himself. The highlight of the evening is the world premiere of a trumpet concerto by Estonian composer Valeri Petrov, based on Estonian folk themes. Written for two solo trumpets and brass ensemble, the work is dedicated to trumpeter Neeme Ots, who will perform as a soloist alongside Spanish virtuoso and Yamaha Artist José Cháfer Mompó. Estonian folk motifs intertwine organically with the composer’s personal and sensitive musical language and refined instrumental intuition. Special guest performance by the winner of the "Trumpet Talents 2025" competition, Patricio Martin Fernandez.
