From Wood to Instrument

From March 9 to 15, the Museum of Science and Technology will host an interactive demonstration entitled "From Wood to Instrument," dedicated to the creation of an acoustic guitar.

Every day from 12:00 to 18:00, visitors will be able to watch master craftsman Miroslav Hrkalovich assemble an instrument, from wood processing to the finished guitar. The master craftsman will work in the museum hall, demonstrating the main stages of instrument making, the materials and tools used, and explaining the techniques that craftsmen use when creating acoustic guitars. Visitors will not only be able to observe the process, but also ask questions about the construction of the instrument, the choice of wood, and the peculiarities of the work of guitar makers. This is a great opportunity to see the process of making a guitar live and learn how a regular piece of wood is turned into a full-fledged musical instrument.
