‘Homin’ is a professional musical ensemble created with the aim of promoting choral art and embodying the best practices and achievements in the field of Ukrainian music. The choir works with a wide range of musical culture, reviving it and inspiring people, revealing the beauty of choral singing to a wide audience. One of the ensemble's key tasks is to reveal the beauty of Ukrainian songs to listeners. The Lviv choir ‘Homin’ was founded in 1988. Over its more than 30-year history, the Homin choir has given dozens of successful performances in Ukraine and abroad (USA, France, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Serbia, Spain, Sweden), popularising Ukrainian choral music, and has won numerous choral competitions. The choir's repertoire consists of songs by Ukrainian composers, folk and rebel songs, works by European and American choral composers, and contemporary music. Popular programmes include Christmas concerts featuring Ukrainian and international carols, spiritual music by Ukrainian composers, patriotic programmes, and original programmes of contemporary music. In 2023, the HOMIN choir joined the Lviv Organ Hall. Vadym Yatsenko is the choir's chief conductor and artistic director. The HOMIN Choir was recognised as the best choir of 2024 in Ukraine.
