Germany’s David Löhlein is bringing the “snake sound” to Drugstore’s HAD night.

David is the child of Lehmann Club, Stuttgart’s techno institution, where he learned about community and set the foundations for his output. Soon after joining the Lehmann family, David released his first music and launched the label Vision Ekstase, which combined his music with a certain sex appeal he was not shy to put upfront. 2021 saw the release of his debut album, made after an accident destroyed his computer and music.

Activism was soon added to his portfolio after a life-changing trip to Colombia. The opening of Snake Studio entirely by hand came right after. The popularity of tracks like “Bad Bitch,” “Altai 2,” or “Barracuda” came as no surprise.

His fast-paced, hypnotic sound fits about right in HAD, and we’re inviting Asarri, RAR, Laccotti, and Kir, Endži, Ledeni, and IXOE to round up the night with their view on the need for speed.
