For the past 15 years, Above Us The Waves has been channeling their love for melodic death metal and infusing it with a hardcore attitude, establishing themselves as one of the most prominent acts in the Greek metal scene. Over the course of their career, they've released two full-length albums, consistently pushing the boundaries of their sound by exploring aggression, melodies, and sharp lyricism. With a relentless "do it live" mindset, they've embarked on numerous DIY tours across Europe, playing festivals both big and small, and supporting some of the most renowned names in the global metal and hardcore scene. In 2025, AUTW are unveiling their brand-new EP Counting Seasons, mixed and mastered by Kyle Black (Paramore, All Time Low, Comeback Kid, Pierce the Veil, Volumes). Set for official release on October 17, 2025, the record promises to resonate with long-time followers and capture new audiences alike, marking a fresh chapter in the band’s story and representing their continued evolution and passion for leaving a lasting mark on the scene.
