Come join us for a unique performance that reflects very different styles. For the past week, young musicians from the National Youth Orchestra of Germany have been guests in Lagos to work on an unusual music program with their peers from Nigeria. Under the artistic direction of the German-Nigerian Adé Bantu and his band BANTU, they will present music for a cross-cultural concert in this open rehearsal. It will be a stunning mix of Nigerian musical traditions and European sounds, featuring violins, percussion, trumpets, cellos, Ludwig van Beethoven and Fela Kuti.
