Edinburgh Studio Opera is proud to present Purcell's 'The Fairy Queen'. 'The Fairy Queen' is based on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It follows two human couples that get lost in the fairy-inhabited woods, are placed under relationship-complicating spells, and experience a fever-dream-like trance through the fairy kingdom.
