Contra Dance Studio from Niš organizes the humanitarian dance concert “Contrart” on February 27, 2026, starting at 19:00 at the National Theatre in Niš. The event supports the Home for Children and Youth “Duško Radović” through art, raising awareness about solidarity and care. The program features carefully crafted choreographies by children and adults, artistic interventions, and improvisations by friends of Contra Dance Studio — Scene u trenu, known for authentic stage expression and strong emotional play. Children's groups perform from 19:00, adult ensembles from around 20:15. The finale features a live performance by the band “Jelka i ukrasi”, members of Scene u trenu, blending dance and music into a unique artistic experience. Contra Dance Studio, founded in 2020 in Niš, is led by founder, director, and main choreographer Danica Ničić. It gathers over 100 children, youth, and adults, nurturing talents with strong choreographies, emotional precision, and authentic expression. Long-time collaborators with the National Theatre in Niš, they participate in numerous productions and projects, winning awards domestically and internationally, including the Dukat Medijane for 2025.
