Margaret Chardiet is an interdisciplinary sound artist from New York City, creator of the death-industrial project Pharmakon since 2006. Raised amid underground musicians, her protean work celebrates ferality and viscereality, using electronic synthesis to transmit self-possession into listeners. She has contributed to punk groups and scored films including Transfiguration (2017) and Sound of Metal (2019).
