Description

If you love “dreamy blues/rock and blistering psychedelic jams” (Relix), you’re in for an exciting ride with Debra Devi and her powerhouse band. Devi blends soulful vocals with expressive, soaring guitar work that’s earned her comparisons to Ana Popovic, Samantha Fish and Susan Tedeschi.

American Blues Scene calls Devi “one of today's top female blues/rock guitarists.” JamBase says she’s "a supersonic fret-burner who also writes hauntingly memorable songs." Vintage Guitar praises Devi’s “Hendrix-style jams and atmospheric slide guitar.”

Her live EP Jamification Station Vol. 1 captured her at full throttle, hitting #5 on the Relix/Jambands.com radio chart and staying on there for three months. She’s one of just a few guitarists invited to endorse Homestead Amps, joining names like Warren Haynes and Jimmy Herring.

Hailing from Jersey City, NJ, Devi’s band is Kevin Jones on bass, John Roccesano on drums and Brian Rigby on keys. Devi’s passion for the blues inspired her to write The Language of the Blues: From Alcorub to Zuzu (foreword by Dr. John), which won the ASCAP Deems Taylor Award.
