Buzhold is a 4-piece from Tallinn that blends the raw energy of grunge, the atmospheric allure of shoegaze, and the expansive soundscapes of post-rock. There are also moments when sunny indie or explosive metal takes over. Calm yet very alert, their stage presence has been described as big and melancholic, and shines through a confidence uncommon among bands this young. Their debut album What It Meant?, which captures the band’s dynamic sound, was released in February 2024 via UK-based Noon Records.
