Gary Mullen won the UK television show "Stars in Their Eyes" in 2000 as Freddie Mercury of Queen. He received 864,838 votes, the highest ever recorded for the programme. Since then he and his band, "The Works", have toured the UK and abroad with their tribute to the music of Queen, the show being called "One Night Of Queen" where they recreate the large arena performances onto the smaller stage of smaller venues, although Mullen has also played at some of the larger UK venues.
