Aston Kalmari is a Finnish rock band from Lappeenranta. The band was formed in November 2018, when singer-guitarist Aleksi Arola decided to expand his solo project into a band. The band was joined by Markus Tuhkalainen (drums), Ville Vuorio (bass) and Samu Pellikka (solo guitar). Arola and Pellikka already knew each other from the Lowlife Hero skatepunk-band from Lappeenranta/Imatra.
The band’s first official single Äiti oli taas oikeessa was out on February 28, 2020. Read more on
