Голубые Береты is a Soviet and Russian military bard ensemble formed in 1985 within the 350th Parachute Regiment of the 103rd Airborne Division during the Soviet-Afghan War. Founded by Sergey Yarovoy, the group performed vocal-instrumental songs reflecting soldiers’ experiences, gaining popularity among troops despite limited official recognition.
The ensemble underwent multiple lineup changes over the years and expanded its repertoire, performing extensively across Soviet and later Russian military units, hot spots, and cities. Read more on
