Alune Wade (June 9, 1978, Dakar ), is a Senegalese bassist, author, composer, performer and producer.

rom the age of six, his father, who directs the symphony orchestra of the Senegalese army, had him give music theory lessons at home. He learns the bass, the piano and the guitar. He benefited from the advice of Samba Laobé N'Diaye , at the time bassist of Ismaël Lo , who lent him his first bass. At 18, Ismaël Lo suggested that he replace the bass player who had succeeded Samba in his group. The young musician stayed there for eight years.
