Once upon a time, somewhere on the meadow near Warsaw, four insects got together and decided to form a music band. They wanted to play, but they didnt know how. After long months of practicing and rehearsing Butterfly, Grasshopper, Bumble-bee and Dragonfly started a psychedelic journey to the big city and thats how the world learned about fantastic live shows giving rare mixture of disco-punk-rock-funkin style of Łąki Łan (meadow field). Formed in Warsaw in 2000 by Piotr Kozbielski (dr), Jarek Jozwik (k), Michal Chec(g), Staszek Wrobel (b) . Unique sound, fanciful costumes and groundbreaking live shows filled with energy and humor made them popular on a Warsaw local alternative scene. It helped them play more and more during the last 3 years. After almost 100 gigs the band was experienced enough to record their demo tape. Debut album entitled simply ŁĄKI ŁAN was released in September 2005.
