There are at least five bands called The Hurricanes. 1. a Jamaican reggae band of the 1970s, who recorded with producer Lee 'Scratch' Perry. 2. a surf rock band from the 1960s. 3. a 1980s Euro-italo-disco band from Germany, produced by Fancy. 4. a Scottish rock 'n' roll indie group from the United Kingdom, originally hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland 5. a 1960s beat band from The Hague, The Netherlands, featuring Rink Groenveld and Peter Kok, who would move on to enjoy chart success as the duo Greenfield & Cook in the 1970s.
