Alfred Giovanni Roncalli Boe, known professionally initially as Alf or Alfred Boe and now as Alfie Boe, (born 29 September 1973) is an English tenor. At 17, while serving as an apprentice mechanic, he would sing opera while working. With the encouragement of a customer in the music industry, he auditioned with the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company to excellent reviews. He quit his job and moved to London to being singing as a career.

After working in numerous ensembles, Boe released his first solo album “Classic FM Presents Alfie Boe” in 2006. This was followed with several studio and live recordings, as well as additional ensemble work.
